Haircut

Nicholas got his first professional haircut today. Such a big step for the little guy. He had developed a phobia of clippers, and my attempts at a scissor cut were a bit choppy. It had been almost 3 months since his last haircut and it was growing over his ears and sticking up wildly in the mornings. I found out Cost Cutters has toys each month to keep kids coming back - nothing like old fashioned bribery. But it worked! Nicholas got a key chain watch and last month's toy, binoculars, and a lollipop. He was so pleased with how well he sat still and got a big boy haircut. He asked the nice lady to cut it like the man in the poster. It was funny that he knew to say that considering he's never been to a hair salon.
