Conversation tonight with my husband:
A: [Name withheld] was not in the office today. He had to take his girlfriend to the dentist. She had a root canal done and developed an abscess.
Me: Wow. I went to the dentist all by myself when I had my abscess.
A: You've given birth.
Me: Oh, so I get a free pass on all future pain?
A: Uh, yeah. We've seen your pain threshold.
