Playing Catch Up

• Spring is definitely here now!  The lawn needs mowing.  Flowers are in bloom.  And now the pollen is in season.  Everything glows and everyone sneezes.
• Nicholas had a birthday party last Sunday at Marbles Kids Museum.  We invited 16 of his friends and received 8 yes's and 1 no.  The other 7, well who knows what happened to them.  I hope they had a nice day otherwise.  We had a blast.  The party assistant had the room set up for us with plates, utensils, juice boxes, ice cream, and cake.  After running around like banshees, snacks, and cake the kids couldn't wait to go play in the museum.  By the time we were leaving, some of our friends were still having a good time.
• Our anniversary came and went.  Nine years!  I can't believe it.  We didn't make a huge production about it, but I think next year we definitely will.
• Yesterday I went for a long run.  I went before it was too hot but not before the sun was almost directly overhead.  It's sad to say good bye to the cool winter days.  I will have to adjust to the change just like I adjusted to the winter temperatures.  It was a tough run to get through.
• This morning I ran to the bagel place and back.  Just a few miles total.  And everyone had a fresh bagel for breakfast.
• Today I am taking the boys to my mom's house for Easter.  Stay tuned for pictures.
