Nick's Birthday

Almost a month ago our firstborn turned 6 years old.  Travis and I woke him up with a couple mylar balloons and a bag of his favorite candy.  He wore the shirt Travis picked out as a gift and went on to school.  His teacher gave him a special birthday crown to wear all day.  At lunch his classmates enjoyed birthday Krispy Kreme doughnuts that Adrian secretly dropped off at the front office.  After school we picked up birthday boy and we went to dinner.  He selected Red Lobster, not so much for the food but because he knew the staff would sing to him.  Then we came home for presents and dessert.  Chocolate brownies again just like last year.  He was very pleased with his special day and loved all the gifts he received.
