I left work early and picked up the boys from daycare. We hung out in the backyard for a little while and took a few pictures because the late afternoon sun is perfect. I actually got to be in a photo. Yeah! Then a decision was made to institute a new policy: Family Friday Dinner Out. We loaded up the car to go to North Hills Mall. Nicholas got some wiffle balls and a bat from Target (he's not spoiled). Then time for dinner - there's quite a few places to choose from. We selected The Q Shack for this outing. Afterwards we walked over to REI and made it out with no purchases. So rare! It was coming close to 7:15 so we headed home. The boys turn into rotten eggs if thrown off their bedtime rituals, trust me. Everyone was tucked in by 8:15. The grown ups watched Wild Hogs and called it a night.

First Blog Ever
Wow! I never thought I would do this. I've learned from my hip sister's blog that this will be a better way to keep family and friends up to date. So we'll just pick up from yesterday for starters.
